Most preapproval letters are just a starting point. Mine isn't. I take buyers through full underwriting before they write a single offer — so when you find the home, all we need is the address, contract, appraisal, and title. The borrower side is already done.
When I say fully approved, the buyer's file has been through underwriting. Income is calculated and documented. Assets are verified and sourced. Debts are reviewed under the correct program. DPA eligibility is confirmed. When you find the home, here's all that's left:
